The room at Villa Maria was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing an extra blanket upon request. I enjoyed the lovely view when taking a taxi down to town. The hotel is located in a safe area, and as a solo female traveler, I felt secure walking around. The herbal shower gel provided was a nice touch. The WiFi connection was great, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean and had good facilities. The staff were polite and spoke English. The breakfast was satisfactory and coffee was served to the table. The location was in a quiet residential area, but still close to the city center and within walking distance of the main sights and public transportation.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

Located in a charming residential area, the hotel offers a peaceful getaway from the bustling center of Rome. Guests can enjoy a short bus ride to the Vatican and the Coliseum, as well as easy access to Termini for transportation out of the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The continental breakfast offers a variety of options, including cereals, pastries, and fruit. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful parks, providing a relaxing atmosphere.

The distance from the downtown area might require some extra effort for daily commutes.

The hotel offered a welcoming atmosphere for travelers from all over the world. The continental breakfast provided a wide variety of options and the rooms were basic but well-equipped with Wi-fi and TV. The outdoor area was a great place to relax, and the hotel's location near multiple bus stops made it easy to explore Rome. The beautiful park across the street and the 25-minute walking path to St. Peter's Basilica added to the overall appeal of the hotel.

    Nothing, all excellent.

We stayed at Villa Maria for a week and had a fantastic time. The hotel is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with great views of the surrounding area. We enjoyed exploring the Trastevere area nearby, with its charming shops, restaurants, and beautiful architecture. The staff at Villa Maria were friendly and helpful, providing us with maps and recommendations. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice hot shower. The breakfast had a good selection, and we especially loved the fresh pastries. The bus stops nearby made it easy to get to popular attractions like the Colosseum and the Vatican.

    I highly recommend this hotel.

I was really impressed with the value for money at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and I even had my own balcony. The location was great too, with a nice walk to the Vatican and close to Gianicolo Hill. The staff was incredibly kind and the 24x7 reception was very convenient.

The only thing I wish could have been better with the breakfast was the variety of items, but that's a minor detail in an otherwise great experience.

Looking for a peaceful getaway in an attractive residential area? Look no further! This hotel is located on a hill, with convenient access to multiple bus stops that can take you anywhere in the city. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. Plus, the continental breakfast offers a large variety of options, ensuring you start your day off right. With beautiful views and excellent service, this hotel truly offers all you need for a delightful stay.

One minor drawback is that the hotel may assign rooms without considering specific guest needs.

We had a fantastic new year experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and the breakfast offered fresh and delicious options. We loved the fact that the hotel was located near bus stops, making it easy for us to explore different parts of the city, including the Coliseum and the Vatican. Additionally, having a supermarket just around the corner was very convenient for us.

We did find the stairs leading up to the hotel a bit challenging, especially for those who aren't very physically active. It would have been helpful if the hotel provided a map with alternative routes that are less steep.

Loved the price-quality ratio of this place! For the amount we paid, we were delighted with the quality of our room. Especially the amazing balcony view and the spacious shower room. Moreover, we really appreciated the complementary morning breakfast and the superb coffee drinks. The location was perfect too! A peaceful area not overrun with tourists, yet still within walking distance of Trastevere and even the city centre itself. We loved going to the lovely park just across the street to escape the bustle of the city.

The only downside was the lack of soundproofing in communal areas. It was very noisy in the mornings, disturbed our sleep, and echoed throughout the hotel.

The continental breakfast offered at the hotel was more than adequate, with a great selection of food to start the day. The waitresses were so nice and even helped us pack some food when we were in a hurry. Additionally, the hotel was located in a quite area, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere during our stay.

The Wi-Fi signal in the room was quite poor, making it difficult to stay connected. Also, the hotel had a lot of stairs to climb in order to reach it, which can be challenging if you have heavy luggage.

The breakfast served on site was a great start to the day, with a nice selection of food and friendly staff. The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to all the main sights and public transport options nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel was also a positive aspect, ensuring a comfortable stay.

The coffee at breakfast was rather cold and the beds were a bit too firm for my liking. Additionally, there were some areas of the room that hadn't been dusted in a while, although the bathroom was well-maintained.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a calm residential area in Rome. The location was perfect, as it was close to the city center and in the Trastevere neighborhood. The rooms were basic but had all the necessary amenities, including Wi-Fi and TV. The continental breakfast offered a large variety of options, including cereals, pastries, fruit. The hotel also had an outdoor area where guests could relax. it was a great value for money and provided a tranquil place to stay in Rome.

One downside of the hotel was that the staff at the front desk could have been more helpful. They didn't go out of their way to assist English-speaking tourists and weren't very friendly.
